Zanzibar red colobus is an endangered species; they are mainly distributed in the forest reserve of Zanzibar Island in Tanzania. On other hand, the red colobus has become a flagship species for conservation success in Zanzibar, and now attracts many visitors and tourist. Jozani areas are decorated and surrounded by protected forest has become a major tourist attraction.
